any ideas that are nonexpensive.And it would also be great if you could come up with titles for regular classroom activities(like instead of journal books what could i call it),the objectives board,etc. that fit with the theme.Its a high school english class and I just want to grasp theire attention more.

Have the kids do hand and/or footprints on squares of paper and then add their autographs. Add large gold stars and post them around the room like Groman’s Chinese Theater’s sidewalk. Instead of journals, you could have a Celebrity Gossip or Celebrity Diaries daily assignment board.
