I mean if you think about it, we have a TON of celebrities in Hollywood, but barely any gay or bi ones. Do you think some of the really famous ones just stay in the closet? I mean, they can’t all be totally straight, right?
Do you think some celebrities are gay or bisexual but just never say it?

Yes, it has always been that way. When I was an actor, my agent actually put a clause in our contract that if I behaved openly homosexual, I broke our contract. I actually HAD to be closeted while working as a screen actor. Back then, you couldn’t get straight roles as an open homosexual… and there were VERY few homosexual roles available… and for some reason, they almost always cast heterosexuals in those roles.
Things are somewhat different now… however it is still RARE for a homosexual/bisexual celebrity to be able to be open and honest about their sexuality.
That was 1984-1989.
No they can’t all be totally straight and if they’re bisexual it would actually be pretty easy to hide it.

Well, I think Hollywood is a town full of secrets anyway, so it makes sense. It might hurt one’s career to be gay, even in this day and age. You play one gay part, and rumors fly everywhere, the better you play it, the more inclined one is to believe said actor or actress is gay. It’s gotta be tough.
I would like to think it’s better to keep it a mystery. If you see a straight guy playing a gay part, you don’t want the fact that he is straight to affect whole believable the performace is for you, or vice versa for a gay guy playing a straight guy.
I suspect there’s quite a few but they don’t come out of the closet because they are afraid of ruining their careers.
Yeah. A lot of them probably are not straight. But, if anything slipped out, imagine what the paparazzi would do. It would be everywhere in a matter of minutes and everybody would be freaking out about it. And it’d probably even be on the news on some channels.

i mean take the jonas brothers for example.
at least ONE of them is gay!
but they will never admit it becaue nobody would go to their concerts and stuff.
hell yes..if i was famous i wouldnt want everyone to be all up in my face with my sexuality either
