Well, Fox News tends to present issues from both sides, most of the time. And, the opinions are backed up by factual data, most of the time.
Hollywood "personalities" on the other hand, have an inflated sense of importance and most, not all, are idiots.
People don’t realize that faux news people are just entertainers and take their word as truth. People think, oh, actors, what do they know. But then watch Glenn Beck and think, oh he’s on a station with the word news in it, he must be telling the truth, when all he does is make wild, and wild is probably an understatement, generalizations about people’s beliefs. People in America should be smarter, but what can I say. There are a lot of times when I am quite depressed to be an American.
You are exposing your political preference. Both sides of issues, left and right, are needed to come up with the best solutions for our nation.
There are plenty of left leaning media to balance the right leaning media that you describe.

It is ironic that Fox News and conservative talk radio personalities criticize Hollywood ‘entertainers’ whenever they try to give their opinion on political issues, but whenever those same personalities are called to prove the veracity of their own political claims, they claim to be merely ‘entertainers’ and not journalists.
And then their fans tell us we shouldn’t trust broadcast news because it’s tainted with liberal bias.

Without Fox News we would not know about Acorn, the Tea Parties, some Republicans are progressive-lite (McCain, Graham), we wouldn’t know that van jones is a SELF-proclaimed communist, that Anita Dunn idolizes Mao, that Manufacturing Czar, Ron Bloom, is against capitalism and praises Mao that "Power comes from the barrel of a gun," which he was talking about in forcing the American people. We wouldn’t know about Sunstein or Holdren or any other Czar. Google the videos. WE wouldn’t know about the upcoming VAT tax, and the upcoming global tax.
Hollywood entertainers know they live in a world of fantasy and make believe. Whereas the people at Fox don’t. The actually believe in the crap they spew.
